I have kind of been on a rollercoaster about my post-graduation plans over the last few months. Now I have some kind of path that I intend to follow.

I know that I will attend Christian Brothers University and take a pre-law route. My High Point University (in N. C.) dream just didn’t come true. Everything happens for a reason, as is often said, so maybe this is just how things are supposed to be.

Maybe it is meant for me to stay in Memphis and attend school. I can venture out to other places after I graduate.

A lot of time has passed since I first thought about becoming a lawyer. Somewhere along the way I got discouraged and decided to detour. After changing my major and career goals, I have ended up back where I started – wanting to become an attorney. The practice of law is an interesting – though not always easy – career choice, so I am told. Still, I believe I have the drive to successfully take on whatever challenges I may face along the way.

Hopefully, I won’t get discouraged, again, and change my intended major, again! I am still interested in being a journalist, so maybe I can do that in my spare time…be a blogger or something.

Long story short: I need to start getting my life together. I mean, I can’t keep stalling on things when they could have a major effect on the rest of my life, even though whatever decisions I make should be well thought out.
