As the new President and Publisher of the
Tri-State Defender, I understand that connectivity and relationships are critical to our success and the success of any business. It is my goal to ensure we remain focused on the needs and concerns of the community while building new relationships that allow us to grow stronger as a multimedia company.
With that in mind, I have created a platform that will help us to maximize those goals. We invite interested individuals from around the community to become a part of our
Tri-State Defender Ambassadors team.
The Ambassadors – as the name suggests – will be representatives, advocates and advisors for our organization. They will be a critical part of our growth strategies and goals to strengthen our ties in the community while growing our subscribership and revenues.
How it works … With goals to increase our readership, number of subscribers and local advertisers, the critical team of
Tri-State Defender Ambassadors will volunteer to represent the company at various events and functions, serve as advocates and representatives of the newspaper and visit with local businesses with the purpose of providing information on the resources and opportunities available at the
Tri-State Defender. They will also be an important part of gauging customer awareness and satisfaction as well as promoting the
Tri-State Defender throughout the Great Memphis community.
