| LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS for ESCALATOR REPLACEMENT IN TERMINALS “A” & “C” at Memphis International Airport Memphis, Tennessee MSCAA PROJECT # 10-1308-02 Sealed bids for the replacement of escalators in Terminals “A” & “C” at the Memphis International Airport, Memphis, TN will be received by the Staff Services Division of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA), 3505 Tchulahoma Road, Memphis, Tennessee 38118, until 2:00 PM local time on August 12, 2010. BIDS WILL NOT BE RECEIVED AT ANY OTHER LOCATION. The Bids will be opened and publicly read at the Airport Project Center Auditorium located at 4225 Airways Blvd., Memphis, TN 38116 at 3:00 PM local time August 12, 2010. The scope of work consists generally of the replacement of the escalators between the ticketing and baggage levels in Terminals “A” & “C”. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS 2006-2010 Disparity Study Update For Memphis International Airport Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority Statements of Qualifications for the 2006-2010 Disparity Study Update for the Memphis International Airport will be received by the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (“Authority”) at Memphis International Airport, Administrative Support Facility Building, Staff Services Division, 3505 Tchulahoma, Memphis, TN 38118, no later than 10 a.m. local time, September 23, 2004August 4, 2010 INSTRUCTIONS TO RESPONDENTS The Statements of Qualifications shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or container. Each envelope or container must be clearly marked on the outside with the notation Request for Statement of Qualifications, 2006-2010 Disparity Study August 4, 2010. Your company name and address must be on the outside of the envelope or container. No responses will be accepted after the stated deadline. MSCAA seeks a respondent with a strong background in statistical and economic analysis as it relates to business discrimination in the United States to update the 2000-2005 Study. The Study Update will be based on analysis of D/M/WBE availability and the past and current status and utilization of D/M/WBEs in the various MSCAA markets for contracting and procurement at MSCAA and in the Memphis area from 2006 through 2010. MSCAA plans to conduct interviews, which can be via telephone or in person at the election of those Respondent’s chosen to interview. MSCAA intends, but is not required to, to interview all qualified Respondents on Thursday or Friday, August 5th and 6th. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications and to waive any informalities, technicalities or omissions therein and/or to cancel this process at any time up until contract signing, if any. If awarded, the award will be made to the best responsible qualified respondent.
