Deidra and her mother, Vanessa Conner, have been funneling pictures and comments from New York City to the Tri-State Defender.

 Wow! The only word we have been able to speak! We are so grateful for all support. I am so proud of Memphis! Deidra did an interview with People Magazine right after the announcement. Had about an hour of down time and off to the Carnival Dream Ship in port to complete her assignment. They politely told me to take the day off and pointed me in the direction of the hotel in the rain. LOL.

Man, what a great story for Memphis!
