» Imani ‘Sluggers’ rise beyond wins and losses

I got an email recently from the coach of a youth baseball team, the Imani Sluggers. It seems that the Sluggers – both boys and girls – had completed a season to remember. In 16 games they did not record a single win.

The Memphis Grizzlies ended the 2008-09 NBA season on a high note by defeating the Playoff bound Atlanta Hawks 98-90 at the FedExForum. The Hawks rested most of their starters in the second half, but who cares. The victory was sweet.
